As 2019 starts to wind to a close, Autologyx is ending the year on a highlight, after being invited to partner with world-renowned consultancy service Deloitte Legal to partner in their Legal Ventures programme. The announcement, broken exclusively this week in industry-leading publication Artificial Lawyer, serves as an exciting endorsement of our market focus on legal and the pioneering technology Autologyx contributes which is driving daily efficiencies for lawyers.
When researching this flagship legaltech initiative, Deloitte looked at nearly 400 early-stage companies and extensively evaluated their products, teams and alignment to the current and future legal technology capability of Deloitte Legal. ALX Legal was selected to be one of 14 technologies on-boarded to the programme, which is set to challenge the legal sector status quo.
Under the new initiative, Deloitte Legal is collaborating with Autologyx to develop proofs of concept in key areas across their legal operations and client work. The launch of the Legal Ventures programme follows a series of strategic legal hires in the UK, demonstrating Deloitte’s commitment to revolutionise legal services.
Laura Bygrave, innovation and Ventures lead at Deloitte Legal, commented:
“We are focused on developing long-term, meaningful relationships with these companies. Starting as the user enables us to understand how a product or service can transform how we work and how it can benefit our clients. Importantly, we are not seeking to achieve exclusivity through these relationships; we do not want to impose any restrictions that could hinder product development and growth.”
Ben Stoneham, CEO and Founder of Autologyx, adds:
“The opportunity to work with Deloitte on this groundbreaking new initiative really ends this year with a bang for Autologyx. With a huge amount of legal tech transforming the market, both law firms and inhouse are starting to embrace the power of data and automation. The mix of technology and expertise bought together in this programme will deliver significant benefit to Deloitte Legal and its clients and I am certain will move the already exciting field of legaltech on to ever greater heights."
